Poll says American public already tired of presidential race
Sunday, April 27th, 2008With major debates and campaign speeches starting a full 18 months before the next presidential election, it seems the candidates are risking over-exposure. A recent poll shows that 52 percent of the voters polled judged the campaign dull, and nearly two-thirds thought that starting this early made the campaign period too long. Think we could get all the candidates to freeze campaigning until the month before the first primary? Wishful thinking, I know.
