Romney wins straw poll among values voters

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

At a recent straw poll of “values” (read: religious) voters, Mitt Romney took first place. Mike Huckabee followed at a close second. Rudy Giuliani spoke to the group, hoping to reassure them on his stand on issues such as abortion and gay rights, but he didn’t make much headway in the numbers. James Dobson, evangelical leader, has said that if faced with a choice between two candidates who are pro-choice, he would vote for a candidate from a minor party.

Laptop Batteries

Monday, October 29th, 2007

I was having a real pain shopping for Laptop Batteries the other day, I guess it is not uncommon for people to have a little bit of a hard time finding the exact batteries that will work for their laptops. I found an awesome site that has every battery that I could think of, located at allbatts.com! They had the exact laptop battery that I was looking for. Since that task was so easy, I looked up different batteries for things like my camera and camcorder. It was easy to find batteries for everything that I could think of! Ease of use and friendly customer service are just a couple of the reasons I would shop at AllBatts.com again. No matter what battery you are looking for, they probably have it!

In spite of everything, Hillary says Bill is worth it

Monday, October 29th, 2007

Hillary Clinton is the ultimate embodiment of the old Tammy Wynette song “Stand By Your Man.” She’s stood by Bill through multiple accusations of affairs, and the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal. In a recent interview, she says that in spite of everything, her marriage to Bill is worth it. Sure it is - it got her into the White House and got her enough exposure to become a senator from New York. And she may be heading back to Washington, DC, if the polls tell us anything.

Plastic Surgery

Monday, October 29th, 2007

When you make the decision to have Plastic Surgery, there are many more decisions to come. When you are picking a doctor to perform your surgery there are a few different things that you must consider. It is highly recommended that you make sure your surgeon is registered with the General Medical Council. You can even ask the clinic that you are looking at to let you get in contact with some people that have had the same plastic surgery procedure as the one you are currently looking at, see what their thoughts and feelings are on the way things were handled. Lastly you want to visit at least two different surgeons before you committ to having it done. Just be very cautious all around when picking a clinic!

Republican and Democrat front-runners have huge negative numbers

Monday, October 29th, 2007

Well, if the current polls tell us anything, then it looks like the presidential match-up in 2008 will be Hillary Clinton versus Rudy Giuliani. The only problem with that is that 50% of voters polled called Hillary the one person they would never, ever, not in a million years, vote for. And 43 percent say they would never, ever vote for Giuliani. I hope party officials are paying attention to these numbers.
