I have always wanted one of those really modern looking grandfather clocks. I have always been fascinated by grandfather clocks, and the way they work, and how beautiful they really are. I do not think that there is a grandfather clock that I do not like!
There is an interesting article on the grandfather clock blog about Howard Miller clocks vs. Ridgeway grandfather clocks. I thought that these were two totally different clock manufacturers, but apparently Howard Miller Clocks acquired the Ridgeway Clocks Brand.
I found the perfect grandfather clock for my home that would fit perfectly in my dining room. It is a Kieninger Gammon Grandfather Clock, and it is modern and beautiful! Contemporary is the way to go in my home, I want everything to look as modern as possible, and this clock is certainly modern. I am in love with it! I have heard good reviews about Kieninger Gammon Grandfather Clocks, so I think I will try this one. (I am including a photo of this one that I want!)
Grandfather clocks usually last for generations, and it will be nice to have an heirloom to pass down to my kids one day. My grandmother is passing her grandfather clock down to my dad, but I do not want to wait to get that one, my dad is still quite young!
